When was the last time I posted? Can't believe that my last post was posted in 2012. What the hell? What have I done since 2012? Where has the time gone?
The picture here is a pic from my last post. Some 12 to 13 years ago I wrote a short blog about washing and waxing my car. And today, I am sending it to the scrapyard. I am not a car person and don't really care about cars. A car is a car is just a car, period. Still, I have to say thank you to it for its dutiful and most loyal service, for keeping us safe and letting us disappearing from one place and reappearing in another place. Thank you.
The decision to scrap my car is just a tiny part of something bigger; it is the result of our decision to uproot from the place we grew up and always love, and to re-establish ourselves in foreign lands, away from our most loved ones. Big decision indeed.
I will write something about it but I don't know what to write and where to start.
